The Canadian Rental Association (CRA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and representing the equipment and event rental industry across Canada. We provide resources, education and advocacy to enhance the success of our members.

About the role

As the Membership Specialist, you will be the first line of customer service for our members. You will be responsible for updating the database, ensuring all contact information in current, and engaging with members and partners on a daily basis. By ensuring the membership/partnership lifecycle is maintained, you will also oversee the renewal cycle. This position deals with implementing programs and services to the membership/partners, communication, acquiring new members/partners and some light accounting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the current database with accurate information.
- Provide monthly membership ad partner reports (or additional as requested)
- Deliver a quarterly membership orientation virtually.
- Ensure there are sufficient current marketing pieces to promote the various benefits of membership and partnership to stakeholders.
- Administer programs and services for the membership and partners as directed (R2GO tags, affinity programs, SAFE Roads, etc.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of all membership payments.
- Develop communications for members and partners.
- Assist with events and tradeshows as required.
- Solicit new members and partners as part of a membership growth plan.
- Additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year association experience, and 3 years of administrative experience.
- Superior organizational, time management and analytical skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Programs and the versatility to learn new software easily.
- Detail oriented with a strong aptitude for accurate data entry.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Member-centric mind set and a positive attitude.

Pay: $48,500.00-$60,000.00 per year
