Ottawa, Canada MCIS Language Solutions Full time

As a freelance interpreter on the MCIS roster, you will be required to Interpret (perform spoken translation) in community settings (such as hospitals, the police, tribunal hearings, schools, etc) between English and Bengali languages.

Soft skills include sensitivity and willingness to support the community by providing a service for vulnerable populations who have linguistic barriers.

If this your first time doing interpretation, we have a short, online training module available for you. which you will be required to complete.

If you are trained and tested interpreter, you are welcome to join our roster.

*Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

*Must have reasonable availability between standard business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)
