The business has been operating in Victoria, BC for over 30 years, doing insurance based work as a sub contractor for emergency restoration companies. The current owner is 80 years old, and both he and the main technician are looking to retire.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain communications with existing clients
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic components
- Remove smoke damage from household electronics
- Collaborate with team member to do inventory of damaged items, and organize the return of restored items to job site.

**Skills**:

- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle electronic equipment
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electronic issues
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

**Salary**: From $77,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to Relocate:

- Victoria, BC: Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
