**Primary Job Functions**
- Prepare and process full cycle semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salary employees in multiple locations and collective agreements.
- Administration of employee group benefits and Company RRSP plans.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile various payroll and benefit related reports for salaried and/or hourly employees, including monthly journal entries.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and account analysis for various payroll and withholding accounts.
- Perform monthly insurance updating online with company group benefit providers, and internally including calculations for monthly JV's. Maintain insurance files and monitor eligibility and changes as required.
- Function as liaison between Company employees and various insurance and employee benefit providers.
- Other payroll-related tasks as required.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience with **Ceridian Dayforce** HRIS system, current payroll practices and worker compensation programs are required.
- UKG HRMS experience is considered an asset.
- Above average skills with Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certifications is preferred.
- Post secondary education in payroll is an asset.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting.
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
- Initiative-taker and able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment.
