**Responsibilities include**:
We are looking for a passionate, committed, flexible individual for our banquet hall who can work prep and cook for a full service plated and buffet menus. Events are mainly wedding, corporate and social events.

**Accountabilities**:

- Consistently following kitchen standard operating procedures
- Promote a safe and sanitized work area
- Able to meet and maintain standards set by the Chef.
- Food portion, monitor and minimize waste.
- Work with BOH kitchen staff to prepare, cook and plate all dishes for our menu’s.
- Able to multitask and pay attention to details.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward the job being performed.
- Report to work on time (as scheduled) and in proper uniform that you provided.

**Job Requirements**:

- 2 years’ experience is recommended but not mandatory in a Food & Beverage environment.
- Ability to work in a fast past environment.
- Pleasant, respectful and professional when communicating with others.
- Willing to work on your own and with a team.
- Detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work well under pressure
- Well-organized, attention to detail and can work effectively under tight time restraints
- Able to perform physically demanding duties (standing, lifting, walking).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Banquet/Catering Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
