**Responsibilities**:
**Routine Maintenance**:Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property management.

**Repairs and Troubleshooting**:Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Address issues related to appliances, fixtures, and other equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems in a timely manner.

**Preventive Maintenance**:Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of property systems and equipment.
Schedule and perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

**Groundskeeping**:Maintain the exterior of the properties, including landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal.
Ensure that common areas are clean and well-maintained.

**Safety and Compliance**:Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols when performing maintenance tasks.
Ensure that all work complies with relevant building codes and regulations.

**Documentation**:Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.

Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Education and Certifications**:High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications in maintenance or a related field are a plus.

**Work Schedule**:Flexible schedule with the ability to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular working hours.

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON L8P 4V1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
