BLG’s Securities and Capital Markets team is recruiting for a resourceful and dynamic individual with a growth mindset that can help solve for today while building for the future. Come experience the momentum with BLG

You will be a key member of a dynamic and innovative group of lawyers, clerks and legal support staff, providing the highest level of service to our clients, while having the opportunity to cultivate your skills as part of our successful national Securities and Capital Markets team, within Canada’s premier full-service law firm.

- The key responsibilities of this role are:

- Draft ancillary documents for investment fund filings
- Coordinate and complete filings on NRD, SEDAR and SEDI (and SEDAR+ once launched)
- Liaise with the securities regulators and SROs
- Work as member of a collaborative team assisting with overflow, urgent deadlines and back-up coverage
- What you will bring to this role:

- 3-5 years of experience as a Securities Law Clerk
- Knowledge of securities laws, regulations and policies related to registration and investment funds
- Excellent knowledge of securities registrations/NRD registrations and good knowledge of SEDAR
- Strong work ethic; continuous improvement mindset and a self-starter in a fast paced environment
