**Accounting and Logistics Analyst**

Field Farms Marketing Ltd. (FFM) is a rapidly growing organic and non-GMO grain elevator, grain processor, and trading house.

**Position Overview**

As an accounting and logistics analysts, you will act as an intermediator between the logistics, accounting, and marketing departments of FFM. This will require you to be a team player and work closely with all members of FFM. Your role will focus mainly on accounting and logistics activities required for the daily operation of the company.

Accounting tasks:

- Invoice logging and general data entry
- A/P and A/R work
- Data formatting
- Bank reconciliations
- HST returns
- WSIB submissions
- Financial statements and inventory report generation
- Source deduction
- Assisting finance department in payroll submission

Logistics tasks:

- Oversee critical logístical movements, data input, and tracking of global shipments
- Advise marketing personal on logistics updates and movements
- Assist Logistics Director in all aspects of freight, rail, and truck transportation
- Support trade with importing of goods into major organic markets globally includingCanada, United States and Europe

Administration tasks:

- Dealing with routine correspondence and documents
- Routine correspondence with clients
- Maintaining up-to-date client records

**Education & Experience**
- Post-secondary education required. Strong preference for specialization in accounting, finance, logistics, economics, or business
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals is required
- Understanding of logistics systems is an asset
- Work experience in fields of accounting, business, finance, or economics is an asset
- Experience with company ERP systems is an asset
- Experience in logistics or inventory control is an asset

**Qualifications**
- Willingness to learn
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products is a requirement (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- ERP experience is an asset
- Level 2 Excel knowledge is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High energy, motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, while being assertive in a team environment
- Self-starter and able to work independently and ensure tasks are completed with littles upervision
- Highly collaborative
- Detail oriented and organized
- Able to work in a vibrant environment and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional composure
