Parks & Maintenance Labourer - Seasonal

The wage rate for the above position is between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour. The position consists of 40 hours per week for four months from May 2023 to August 2023.

Duties include:

- repair and general maintenance activities on buildings and grounds.
- operate light to medium equipment such as light trucks, riding mower, power tools and other equipment as directed.
- pick up and disposal of garbage and debris.
- assist with maintenance and care of park facilities, grounds and trails.
- water, weed, prune and trim trees and landscape plants.
- any other duties as assigned by the Town Foreman.
- you will have the ability to work independently, and/or as a contributing member of a park team to complete work assignments and contribute towards a positive working environment.

The successful applicant must possess a current valid Class 5 driver’s license. This position involves frequent lifting, carrying and moving supplies and equipment such as picnic tables and cleaning supplies.
