Hamilton, Canada Main Street Health Full time

Main Street Health is looking to bring a dependable and outgoing Medical Receptionist to our team. This position requires a cheerful, bright, polite individual who is always eager to help and thrives on a busy work environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Greets all patients, in person or over the phone, with a friendly and positive attitude
- Scheduling patient appointments according to therapist recommendations or treatments plans, ensuring schedule is full, maintaining waitlist to fill gaps
- Advising and directing patients on clinic policies, products and services
- Facilitates patient flow by notifying Therapists of patients’ arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- Invoicing and collecting payments from patients
- Ensuring all patient data is accurately entered in the system and all necessary documents are on file
- Responsible for keeping clinic and work area tidy and clean
- Supports Management in other administrative duties and tasks where needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of MVA, WSIB and EHC forms and paperwork preferred_
- Experience in a rehabilitation clinic preferred_
- Experience using Universal Scheduling an asset_

**- **Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Proficiency in the use of computer and office equipment. Familiarity with desktop computing tools, multi-line phone systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates a caring, respectful and compassionate attitude towards all people
- Excellent English communication skills: grammar as well as spoken English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
