Automotive Service Director

The Dilawri Automotive Group is currently looking to hire an experienced Service Director to manage the efficient and profitable operation of multiple Service departments across our group.

Essential Job Duties:

- Forecast goals and objectives for the departments and strive to meet them.
- Hire, train, motivate and monitor the performance of the Service and Parts department managers.
- Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the Service and Parts departments.
- Maintain reporting systems required by general management and the manufacturer.
- Hold weekly department meetings. Monitor the performance of the Service and Parts departments. Work with Parts and Service managers to find ways to improve the overall profitability of our dealerships.
- Strive for harmony and teamwork within the departments and with all other departments.
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with provincial regulations that affect repair operations, as well as understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business. Make customer satisfaction a department priority, ensuring that Service and Parts personnel are courteous and respectful in their interaction with customers.
- Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
- Handle customer complaints immediately and according to dealership’s guidelines.
- Administer warranty claims, reviews warranty policy adjustments, understands and applies warranty guidelines, ensures correct processing of claims, and communicates warranty information and clarifications to customers.
- Serves as liaison with factory representatives.

Position Requirements:

- Diploma or degree and at least 5 years of automotive Fixed Operations management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and professional business acumen.
- Ability to interact effectively with both internal and external clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skill
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft office
- Customer and profitability focused.
- Ability to work under pressure.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
