Financial Controller

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Manage all accounting operations including invoicing, receivables, general ledger and advice and accounting for costs, inventory and products
Coordinate and manage financial budgeting and forecasting and report variances
Prepare and Manage Cash Flow Statements
Manage Accounts Payable / Receivable with accounting team
Prepare Directors’ Committees and make appropriate recommendations
Prepare and publish monthly financial statements on time
Coordinate regulatory reporting
Investigate technical accounting issues for compliance purposes
Responsible for end of month and year closure procedures
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reports
Manage and comply with federal, state and local government reporting and tax reporting obligations
Implement and detail business processes and accounting policies to ensure and strengthen internal controls
Make a recommendation on the best way (e.g. Excel file, new software, etc.) to obtain product/expense information by activity;
Analyze variances between results and budget to determine the company’s situation;
Prepare a section of the budget (annual, monthly), analyze the budget and monitor the variance evolution with the actual;
Coordinate and/or prepare the annual budget and ensure that the budget is complete and ready to be presented to stakeholders;
Assess variances between actual and budget and make recommendations for improvement;
Implement a new cost accounting methodology to improve results;
Prepare costs per activity (service);
Prepare management reports to demonstrate cost-effectiveness of products(Services).
Measuring organizational and individual performance
Analyze performance indicators and explain variances;
Update the dashboard with the evolution of actual results
Analyze the performance of the company or business line;
Make accounting entries
Evaluate and improve performance indicators to improve company performance;
Audit and audits with government
Collaborate with banking insights
Collaborate with external accountants on year-end financial statements
**Skills**:
- Ability to coordinate, execute and organize work
- Customer service orientation;
- Particular accounting skills
- Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude and customer service
- Compliance with occupational health and safety rules.
- Analytical, thorough, persistent and effective.
- Be independent and have good judgment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
- Experience in creating financial statements
- Experience in general accounting functions and month/year-end closing process
- Excellent administration and use of accounting software
- Managing Tight Cash Flow Situations
- Quickbooks Online
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
