Your mission- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS standards;
- Help prepare regulatory reports pertaining to public companies;
- Carry out the full accounting cycle in accordance with the procedures and controls;
- Ensure that internal controls are followed and help implement new controls;
- Revise entries to general ledgers and account reconciliations;
- Oversee inventories;
- Verify Canadian and US tax reports;
- Actively participate in the annual audit;
- Perform collection follow-ups with the receivables technician and identify collection risks;
- Work with the company’s business units by improving management systems and reports to achieve business goals;
- Monitor capitalized projects and write-off risks;
- Prepare or assist with various government documents to be produced;
- Carry out all other tasks related to this sector’s activities based on business developments and/or the emergence of new priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- At least five(5)years of professional experience in a similar role, with an international SME and/or accounting firm
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and proficiency with Excel
