Project/production Co-ordinator

Selenium Creative Limited is looking for an ambitious Project/Production Co-Ordinator to join our team. This position will provide the opportunity to learn how to successfully manage variably sized custom cabinetry millwork construction projects from inception to completion; and assist the Senior Project Manger with the following job functions: review all documents related to multiple millwork projects including; approved shop drawings, architectural plans and specifications, equipment cut sheets,
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Coordinating and monitoring projects to ensure customers’ expectations are met and that the product is delivered on time.
- Communicator between in house production and the general contractor, the designers and the end user on projects to ensure success.
- Perform job site visits and act as a liaison between the customer and production. Perform Site measurements when required.
- Reviews and gains an understanding of construction documents and contacts.
- Research custom or unique hardware, materials, plus other miscellaneous products required for the specific projects.
- Order hardware and material for jobs as needed. This includes initiating and updating hardware and accessories information within the Project Plan in excel format.
- Coordinate multiple jobs in various stages of construction.
- Create, Deliver or Pickup Finish Sample packages to/from designers and/or customers as needed and maintain a digital log of recipe for each sample created by Finishing department.
- Pick up and/or deliver products and materials to and from Project site.
- Mentored directly by Senior Project Manager & Project Management team.
- Co-ordinate delivery of Project completed product to site for installation
- Co-ordinate and manage Installation of product - this includes scheduling the Subcontract Installers, managing and support of installers to ensure they have all required drawings and instruction to complete the install in a timely, efficient and complete manner.
- Co-ordinate/manage service work and repairs with clients and site-supers.
**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:
- Experience marking up PDF Documents
- Sketchup software and Rendering experience would be considered an asset
**Required Education and Skills**:
- High school diploma or GED
- Class 5 Drivers License required
- Understanding of architectural drawings
- Strong desire to develop a career in the Architectural Millwork industry
- Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when necessary
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the MS Office Suite programs including Office 365, Sharepoint & Teams.
- Must be a self starter, able to manage your time efficiently, excellent multi-tasker and able to function in last minute situations when necessary.
