**Job Description**:
The Procurement Representative** **will coordinate aspects of all vendor management and purchase order processes; and manage the related procurement database. The Procurement Executive is highly skilled in analyzing costs, tracking details, and ensuring accuracy.
- Manage daily requests from external and internal clients
- Responsiveness and attentiveness to details and communication
- Negotiate with vendors/carriers - live load and RFP
- Efficiently match available freight loads with available vendors and carriers
- Communicate regularly with vendors, carriers, internal customers and build a long-term trusted partnership
- Maximize brokerage coverage by developing and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients and suppliers

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of freight brokerage/Logistics experience
- Experience working with drayage, FTL, LTL shipments
- Experience working with **Loadlink** or similar load and freight-matching service software
- Knowledge of rules and regulations for over the road and basic knowledge of international shipping
- Self-starter who can proactively manage expectations and results
- Must have time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills, along with organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Keep up with industry trends
- Wroks well under pressure
- Able to work autonomously and with a team
- Bilingual (English and French), an asset
