**Our Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking survey assistants for project work based in Kamloops, BC.
Under supervision, you will assist with a broad range of field surveys including legal and non-legal boundary, topographic, design, volumetric, preliminary planning, control and construction. Responsibilities include accurately recording measurements and other data, preparing field notes, quality control for survey work, and compiling and computing data.
**Requirements**:
- Enrolled in a Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree program in Geomatics; OR have a strong interest in the field of work
- Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of dependability
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a dynamic team environment is essential
- Experience using Leica Survey Equipment and data processing is an asset
- Although not required, previous experience in an engineering consulting, mining, or heavy industrial environment will be considered an asset
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Applicants local to Kamloops will be given preference
