Fair Waves Coffee Inc. is a franchise business with Coffee Houses located throughout BC and AB. We set out to create a place where friends, family, and strangers could feel good coming together as a community. Founded in 2005 at Hastings and Richards Street in downtown Vancouver, Waves has been blazing the trail with superbly fresh brewed coffee, a commitment to local craftsmanship and community, and incomparable service.
It is the Head Office’s responsibility to provide proper training and live by example for the rest of the Franchisees and store level staff to provide the right customer experience every time. As a member of the Head Office, the goal is focusing on helping our Franchise Partners to meet and exceed their business expectations, while providing excellent support and communication. **Basic Functions**:
As a District Manager at Waves Coffee House, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both corporate and franchised stores, ensuring they thrive and excel in every aspect of their operations. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of dynamic tasks and leadership roles, contributing significantly to our company's success. The key performance indicators for locations will be operational compliance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Guarantee that all stores adhere to the company's standards and procedures for consistent quality and service.
You will lead and oversee multiple teams across different locations, serving as the linchpin for our franchise partners in your area. Your leadership sets the tone, ensuring that all standards and procedures are consistently followed and we function as one cohesive unit.
District Managers play a pivotal role in ensuring that all employees, including franchise partners and managers, strictly adhere to company policies and regulations.
You'll facilitate the smooth implementation of company changes, serving as a bridge between the Head Office and your specific area. Effective communication is key to this role.
Successful District Managers at Waves Coffee House are known for their charisma, persuasion skills, organization, and professionalism. You will collaborate with a diverse group of people, make critical business decisions, and adapt rapidly to evolving circumstances and unforeseen challenges.
You'll be responsible for conducting GSR/ performance evaluations for franchise partners and Corporate store managers assessing store compliance. Your feedback and guidance will help them enhance productivity and efficiency.
**Requirements**:
- 1-3 years of experience combined in relevant and similar roles.
- Must be able to travel
- Good understanding of the general principles of Quality Control
- **Coffee Experience** is an asset (Training will be provided)
- Training Experience is an asset (Training will be provided)
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: On the road
