Caretaker Sturgeon Heights

Sturgeon Public School Division is currently seeking a Full Time Caretaker for a work assignment at Sturgeon Heights School.

Sturgeon Heights School is located within the city of St. Albert boundary and is a Kindergarten to Grade 9 school with approximately 450 students. Sturgeon Heights School encourages students to be critical thinkers, engaged in their own learning environment, and creative with their problem solving.

**FTE**: Full Time Permanent; 7 hrs/day; 5 days a week; evenings

**Rate of pay**: $17.61 - $20.38 per hour, as per the General Employment Conditions

**Assignment**:
**Maintaining the cleanliness of the school through**:
Cleaning of washrooms

Mopping, sweeping, waxing and vacuuming floors

Washing walls and lockers

Removal of garbage

Other related duties as assigned

**Experience**:
WHMIS and First Aid Certification an asset

Experience using floor scrubbers and polishers is an asset

Applicants must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
