As the Climbing Arborist Foreman, your main responsibility will be to assess the tree services required by customers, drive business growth, perform outstanding tree removal, pruning and hedging services on site and provide essential training to our crew members. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring our customers' satisfaction while performing and leading operations outdoors.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Conduct tree assessments and consultations with customers to understand their tree service needs and provide expert recommendations and estimates.
- Plan, organize, and perform tree service operations, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform climbing, tree removal, pruning and hedging activities.
- Lead and mentor crew members, providing training on best practices, safety protocols, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic business plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
- Maintain equipment and ensure its proper use and maintenance to guarantee safe and effective operations.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Arborist with at least 2 years of climbing expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to liaise with clients and address their tree service needs.
- In-depth knowledge of tree care, pruning, removal, and related services.
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- ISA certification or working towards ISA certification.
- Commitment to safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment for the crew and customers.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.

Job Location: Victoria, BC

Job type: Full time/Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour day shift

Base Salary between $31 to $45

**Salary**: $31.00-$45.00 per hour
