**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Program Manager or designate, the Secretary provides administrative/secretarial support to the interdisciplinary team of the Forensic Sexual Behaviour Program (FSBP) who provide clinical service across the province. This includes Psychologists, psychology technicians, and the Clinical Team Lead. The Secretary provides a full range of administrative support to the team which may include but is not limited to taking minutes, preparing letters, ensuring referral packages are complete, scheduling meetings and appointments, and interacting with clients in reception and over the phone. The Secretary works collaboratively with another support staff to ensure efficient and effective administrative support for quality client-focused services.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12 plus graduate of a recognized office administration / business / secretarial program or an equivalent combination of education, training and progressively responsible experience
- Two years recent related experience required
- Medical terminology required
- Proficiency in MedAccess is an asset (electronic medical record)
- Speed and accuracy in document transcription
- Competency in the management of computer files
- Typing of 60 wpm
- Proficiency in advanced word processing functions
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases
- Proficiency physician billings (MSI and / or IFHP) is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational, time management and planning/prioritization skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, Arabic preferred

**Hours**:

- Permanent Full Time position; 70 hours biweekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.36 - $23.14 Hourly
