Bird and Wildlife Technician

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Bird and Wildlife Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission.
As a Bird and Wildlife Technician at GO Pest Control, you will be responsible for managing and mitigating bird and wildlife issues for our clients. This role involves on-site inspections, implementing control measures, and ensuring the humane treatment of wildlife. You will work closely with clients to provide effective and sustainable solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify bird and wildlife issues.
- Implement humane control and exclusion techniques.
- Install and maintain bird deterrent systems and wildlife exclusion devices.
- Provide clients with detailed reports and recommendations.
- Educate clients on best practices for preventing wildlife issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working condition.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education in wildlife management or a related field (preferred).
- At least one year of experience in wildlife and bird exclusions (required).
- Strong knowledge of local wildlife species and behaviour.
- Structural Exterminator Licence (an asset).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to handle and operate necessary equipment and perform fieldwork in various weather conditions.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
