Are you between the ages of 15-30, a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and are legally able to work in Canada?

We are hiring a Fundraiser/Resource Development Officer under the ESDC Canada Summer Jobs program. The position is compensated for 35 hours per week and is a 10 week contract starting June 3, 2024

Are you a student in a field of study related to these activities? Have you graduated and are looking for opportunities to build your experience? Are you looking for your next opportunity and have had experience? **Would you be able to explain your fundraising experience in your cover letter?**

The position entails:

- securing auction items for a large fundraising event
- social media marketing
- assisting our Fundraising/Development officer

**Car is required. (mileage reimbursed)**

Monday - Friday job, some items may need to be picked up on Weekends. Most work will occur in Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 weeks

Pay: $16.80 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- fundraising: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Police Check (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
