**Position Summary**:
BOX OFFICE | Answering customer inquiries via telephone, online and in person for tickets for the Greg Frewin Theatrical Centre show offerings with the outcome of a successful ticket sale. Box office is located onsite at the Greg Frewin Theatrical Centre.

KIOSK| Special holiday kiosk program requires offsite sales associates at different times of the year.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
*The main priority of the Box Office Associate is to provide a high and professional standard of customer care that reflects the mission statement of the Greg Frewin Theatrical Centre; this is especially important as they are the first point of contact for the public and must act as a reception for visitors to the building.
- Direct Ticket Sales
- Provide customers with a positive first impression of the theatre.
- Providing information on all current shows, events and pricing with other possible events taking place at the theatre.
- To be aware of the fire evacuations and Health & Safety requirements and report any problems to the Duty Manager.
- Administration of daily seating plans.
- Communication with all departments regarding to guest needs or requests.
- To attend box office staff meetings whenever necessary.
- Ability to work with 3rd party operators in a respectful, timely and professional manner.
- Off Site Partner’s - visit and deliver show information and creative to local sites/3rd party operators.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Friendly, warm, confident, and outgoing personality traits as role requires attracting and soliciting ticket sales.
- Previous customer service experience with 2 year experience preferably in a box office setting.
- Strong Computer Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, second language an asset but not a requirement.
- Solid knowledge of cash handling and experience using credit/debit machines. Balance daily sales receipts, cash transactions.
- Previous experience working with Ticketing System.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
- Ability to preserve and maintain confidential.
- Flexibility to work, days, nights, weekends, and holidays. At times the shifts may be 8-12 hours.
- Ability to multitask and perform under busy & stressful conditions.
- Access to a vehicle and valid ‘G’ driver’s license.
- Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects with accuracy and attention to details.

**Salary**: $16.55-$17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
