The **Collision Repair Estimator** is a professional, customer-orientated, and technically knowledgeable individual. Your primary responsibility as an Estimator will be to create a positive experience for customers throughout the entire repair process, ensuring the Colorworks standards of high quality and customer service are met and maintained. Reporting directly to the GM, the estimator will work closely with customers, insurance companies, and our production team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven track record with ICBC maintaining a Tier 1 or High Tier 2 Status.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Autobody skills (for light impact and refinish work) is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience with estimating software (ex. Audatex and/or Mitchell).
- Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods
- Ability to problem-solve and find creative solutions
- Computer literacy - with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Body Shop management software.
- Relationship building experience and demonstrated ability.
- Strong phone communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Promptly greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner while determining and assisting with their needs
- Conduct walk-around vehicle inspections while actively listening to customer explanations, concerns, and inquiries
- Prepare quotes for customers with clear descriptions for the job quoted
- Continuously check in with technicians for repair progress, update customers accordingly and explain the work completed
- Obtain quotes on parts and materials from outside suppliers Interact with vendors, insurance companies and business partners in order to execute work orders
- Resolve any customer concerns in a respectful and timely manner

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or modified as necessary.

**Technical Skills & Requirements**
- Minimum 2-5 years experience estimating in automotive industry
- Technical collision repair knowledge is required
- Experience with Audatex and Mitchell estimating
- Commitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledge
- Valid BC driver’s license required (comfortable operating manual transmission vehicles)

This position will be recognized with a competitive salary, pending experience and skill level, as well as benefits on the company plan.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
