The Manager supports the Canada Affiliate leadership team, the Commercial team and the Director, Strategy and Analytics on the understanding and sizing of the local market, trends (e.g.; consumer, competition, retailer / distribution, technological) and opportunities, the understanding of internal performance, the design, update, communication and monitoring of the Affiliate strategy (across all brands in the ELC portfolio), and the execution of key strategic initiatives.

Roles and responsibilities include;
Development and update of Affiliate Strategy
- Understands market trends (across consumer, competition, retailer performance, channel & distribution shifts, technology, etc.)
- Size the market by category and channel
- Evaluates the company performance (by brand / category / channel / account / geography / consumer demographics)
- Identifies, analyzes and prioritizes opportunities across portfolio
- Supports the development of the Affiliate 3-year strategy in collaboration with the leadership team
- Leads specific sections of the strategy development and presentation
- Coordinates with brands, functions and regional strategy team as needed
- Responsible for communication, understanding and alignment on the Strategy across stakeholders in collaboration with the Director, Strategy & Analytics
- Supports the development of granular local market strategies and updates in partnership with the Commercial team
- Supports the development of retailer-specific strategies

Monitoring of the execution of the Affiliate strategy
- Identifies key projects, initiatives and KPIs
- Supports the set up and management of a PMO of key cross-brand / cross-functional projects in the Affiliate
- Tracks and supports the internal reporting of the Affiliate Performance; highlights issues and suggests solutions
- Leads the development of specific sections of the Affiliate Strategy document; specific market updates; supports the development of the Merchandise Financial Planning Process; and the development of strategies at specific retailers.

Project management / analytical support
- Project manages specific, high impact projects (for single or multiple brands) - as identified by Director, Strategy & Analytics
- Provides analytical support and thought partnership to key brands and functions
- Provides analytical support to the leadership team (as needed)
- Demonstrates good project management and collaboration skills
- Manages multiple different topics in parallel, effectively prioritize work and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of similar or relatable experience
- Strong analytical, organization and communication skills
- Analytical Mindset - Uses data available to keep up to date on performance and current business trends
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and reporting systems
- Takes initiative to analyze, understand and improve business
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in groups
- Experience in a fast moving consumer products industry preferred
- Prestige beauty experience an asset
