The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing a full-funnel social media strategy. This role works closely with the Social Media team as part of the marketing department. The specialist strives for specific growth metrics along each funnel phase. This requires understanding how current social marketing programs affect users' intent and ability to purchase via these social channels.

As culture becomes dictated by social media and TikTok becomes the leading entertainment platform, we're looking for people who can put our clients in the spotlight with agile, creator-like content that feels like it was built for the soul of Gen Z.

The Social Media Specialist will always look for new opportunities to diversify channel offerings through innovative programs and early adoption of new platforms.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and executing a full-funnel marketing program.

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for meeting and exceeding identified quarterly key performance indicators, including social-aided conversions, on-social conversions, specific traffic metrics, and specialized revenue metrics focused on major activations like back-to-school and Black Friday.

This position coordinates with the technical product team to ensure that all necessary integrations between the CRM, eCommerce platform, and individual social channels function correctly.

This role will work with marketing and communications to ensure that social commerce content matches brand elements like visual design, voice, and tone.

You'll work with a team of social media experts, including social strategists, social content coordinators/community managers, and social producers.

**Responsibilities**

? Manage end-to-end social and content strategy for multiple clients

? Develop intellectual and compelling strategy documents that shift the way people think

? Drive the creative brief through an identified problem, insight, advantage, and strategy

? Develop new ways of thinking, briefing, and executing against social content

? Source a group of lo-fi content producers to execute creator-style, UGC content

? Instruct research and data teams to uncover new findings and morph them into insights

? Live on the cusp of culture - articulate trends & changes in behaviour to develop POVs

? Obsess over metrics and performance - our clients are now creators, and their existence depends on their social performance

? Collaborate with inter-agency teams, including strategists, creatives, producers, account teams, and project managers

? Take feedback in stride - learning is about not always being right

Desired Skills

? Work within vital digital platforms, including Meta Business Manager, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, X, etc.

? Understanding of social analytics and what they mean. You should have the ability to work on a team as they convert numbers into insights to make non-obvious content recommendations that resonate.

? Strong writing background with an ability to communicate thoughts clearly and simply

? Experience with creative conception. Evaluate what makes an idea suitable and provide feedback to teams that challenge them, resulting in more entertaining content that resonates.

? Are curious by nature: you're interested in how things work and why they work that way

? Have the incongruent take in the room (we want people who think differently than we do)

? Are creatively driven and think of data as a vehicle for unlocking new opportunities

? Set high-quality standards of work for yourself and aim to get every detail right

? Undergraduate Degree (Marketing, Business, Public Relations/Communications, Psychology) or other related degrees considered an asset
