We are looking for a Specialist, Asset Tracking to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Specialist you will play a crucial role in the effective management, tracking, and protection of assets within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize your analytical skills and expertise to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to asset location, movement, and security measures.

A Day in the Life
- Gather relevant data from various sources, such as asset management systems, GPS tracking tools, security logs, and operational databases.
- Clean, organize, and validate the data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical assets with data records and identify any discrepancies.
- Employ data analysis techniques and statistical methods to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies related to asset location and security.
- Develop (in partnership with the manager) and maintain comprehensive asset tracking systems to monitor the location, movement, and utilization of assets.
- Utilize tracking technologies and software solutions to identify discrepancies, track asset life cycles, and ensure proper asset allocation and availability.
- Evaluate existing asset security measures, including access controls, surveillance systems, and alarms, to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Generate reports and insights on asset security performance, highlighting areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key findings, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various teams, including operations, finance, procurement, and security, to understand their asset-related needs and provide analytical support.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives to share insights, coordinate efforts, and contribute to overall asset management strategy.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma, 2- or 4-year degree preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data sets
- Familiarity with asset tracking systems, GPS technologies, and security protocols is highly desirable
- MS Office - proficient in the following
- Excel - ability to add data to cells, use functions, sort data
- Word - ability to create documents
