**ABOUT THE PROJECT**

The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and SNC-Lavalin located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power's Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power's CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

Reporting to the Human Performance Lead the Corrective Action Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing the Corrective Action Program (CAP). The Corrective Action Program will be used to document conditions or events observed during the execution of work at the Bruce Power site which are adverse to meeting the objectives of the Projects (Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost). You will work closely with Human Performance (Hu), Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Quality and Construction teams to manage Cority (adverse condition/event capture) systems, and other software infrastructure tools to extract detailed OPEX lessons learned, identify trends and Areas for Improvement.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Recognizing trends such as repeat low level adverse events, or similar events occurring across the organization which require follow-up action.
- Develop and maintain dashboards displaying performance metrics and areas of improvement. Trend and analyze data to identify precursors to problems and to improve plant performance.
- Alerting line management of emerging issues that need to be addressed and recommend actions
- Reviewing all Cority submission, for correctness of disposition and efficacy of CAP. Notify line management of any changes required and confirm adverse condition has been correctly disposed
- Facilitating screening meetings, management review meetings (MRMs), and/or Corrective Action Review Boards (CARBs), as required.
- Assist line managers to improve department/division performance by acting as a mentor for the line organization regarding Cority evaluations, effective utilization of Cority.
- Provide expertise and technical advice as necessary. Act as a Cority Single Point of Contact (SPOC), providing procedural expertise on a one-on-one basis, as required.
- Lead and/or support analysis as required to develop corrective actions through, Root Cause analysis, Causal Factor analysis, Apparent Cause analysis.
- Prepare and make oral and written presentations related to the Corrective Action Program.
- Facilitate workshops on the CAP as the primary instructor. Interact with and frequently coach event evaluators on Cority submissions to improve and maintain both quality and timeliness.
- Prepare reports to provide information and data in answer to internal or external requests or for transfer of operating experience to future projects, or for historical purposes.
- Develop and revise Governance documents for the CAP as required.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- Post-secondary school education in Business or related discipline.
- Experience in field practices involved in refurbishing and/or modification work within a nuclear facility.
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI reports and dashboards an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills.
- Effective organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
- Practical experience in assessment activities including audits, surveillance, and investigations, to ensure effective performance-based assessments.
