The Staff Psychologist will support a thriving training clinic with a strong base of clientele seeking psychological services. All services must be provided within the context of Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) standards, as mandated by the Department of Psychology, and in adherence to the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists.

- Supervising clinical student placements in the training clinic
- Developing clinic protocols
- Generating new clinic referrals from community sources
- Supervising junior faculty during provisional registration
- Ensuring services adhere to provincial and national standards
- Maintaining relationships with third parties.

Position Requirements

**What You’ll Bring to this Position**:

- Doctorate in clinical psychology from a CPA- or APA- accredited program. Maintenance of registration as a Doctoral Psychologist in the province of Saskatchewan will be a condition for continuation of employment
- 5 plus years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Thorough knowledge of current models of psychopathology, assessment and psychotherapy;
- Knowledge of a wide range of psychological disorders and treatment practices;
- Knowledge of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and applicable diagnostic criteria;
- Knowledge of human nature and interpersonal relations, including well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Knowledge of best practices for supervision and training of graduate student therapists; and
- Budget management experience is also an asset.

Physical Demands Pay Grade APT 8 Salary Range $86,536 - $116,784 (plus $12,000 market supplement) Status Term Work Hours

Align with the URFA APT Collective Agreement.
Work Hours: 36.25 hours/week on average.

Work Schedule: To be determined based on mutual agreement; hours may vary from week-to-week in order to meet the operational needs of the clinic, while respecting the Director’s right to a reasonable and flexible work schedule.
