The Construction division of Northland Properties Corporation is looking for a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Coordinator for its new construction projects in Revelstoke/BC

The Quality Assurance / Quality Control Coordinator should have a strong ability to read and understand blueprints and will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction quality control plans, ensuring compliance, conducting inspections, collaborating with stakeholders, managing documentation, and driving continuous improvements in quality assurance practices.

**Your Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and administer the construction quality control plan and/or Inspection and Test Plan on-site.
- Collaborate with Forepersons and Superintendents to set and meet quality requirements for the project.
- Ensure the implementation of QA/QC documentation, including installation records, check sheets, and other relevant documentation.
- Implement project-specific Construction Quality Control plans and ensure adherence to the plans.
- Provide daily reports to the construction team regarding quality progress.
- Support the on-site team throughout the project to ensure compliance with quality control document plans.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and Foreman to create QC checklists and inspection/test plans and ensure their implementation.
- Conduct inspections and reviews to verify that the work is proceeding according to approved plans and documents.
- Work with Consultants and Site Superintendent to close out site inspections and report QA/QC items requiring further action.
- Verify the completion of appropriate checklists before the placement of concrete, steel, and other similar work.
- Establish quality standards in accordance with the general construction industry and adapt them to project-specific scopes of work.
- Monitor construction progress for quality assurance, tracking, and reporting on the status of activities and issues.
- Report and document areas of non-compliance and troubleshoot with Forepersons and Site Superintendent.
- Collaborate with team members to develop goals and set achievable targets.
- Develop effective quality measurement tools, identify reporting gaps, and create action plans to address any shortfalls.
- Work closely with the Foreperson to ensure proper documentation of deficiencies in workmanship or materials before proceeding with other activities.
- Participate in site documentation for designated areas and assist in preparing closeout documents.
- Coordinate random testing and measurements as required.
- Develop a matrix to document and properly file all test results and inspection reports required by consultants and relevant authorities.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of as-built work performed.
- Support the growth and development of company culture and professionally represent Northland Properties
- Performs other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance/quality control in construction.
- Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or related field.
- Strong ability to read and understand blueprints
- Extensive knowledge and commitment to quality management principles, tools, safety protocols and practices, and standards and regulations in construction.
- Experience developing and implementing quality management systems and procedures for construction projects
- Proficiency in quality inspections, testing, and reporting for construction materials and methods
- Familiarity with statistical process control and quality improvement methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations.
