Rocket Factory is a premium craft cannabis producer located on a 30-acre site in Chatham Ontario. Rocket Factory is a 31,000 square foot purpose built indoor growing facility which focuses on cultivating and processing the best craft cannabis flower in the industry. The Company’s product is based on small-batch and hand manicured cannabis making us one of Canada’s most sought-after craft cannabis producers. The Rocket Factory team combines years of knowledge in the industry with a shared passion to cultivate the latest genetic strains.
**Overview**:
- Coordinate and schedule post-harvest activities including labelling, packaging, master-casing, education samples, irradiation, and trimming as required.
- Ensure activities are executed according to deadlines, production schedules, and standard work instructions.
- Coordinate packaging scheduling with all departments and staff to ensure timely QA release and availability of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts of excise stamps, labels, and other packaging supplies.
- Liaise between management, production floor, and other departments to communicate scheduling plans effectively.
- Arrange and coordinate activities with trimming teams, OCS deliveries, and external partners.
- Coordinate the irradiation process with anti-microbial treatment companies, including scheduling delivery logistics and preparation of required documentation.
- Ensure proper staging and loading of bulk cannabis for irradiation.
- Pre-stage QA released product pallets for various shipments (Domestic Bulk, Export, OCS, Irradiation, Milling, and Prerolls).
- Coordinate B2B and retail shipments including scheduling, paperwork preparation, and delivery logistics.
- Handle freight forwarding for international shipments as required.
- Coordinate monthly cannabis and non-cannabis inventory counts.
- Conduct spot-checks, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate merchandise inventory and secure storage cycle counts.
- Assist in new material sourcing, manage vendor communications, and participate in RFP processes.
- Investigate and report inventory issues, non-conformances, and deviations within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Experience with cannabis operations and cultivation is preferred.
**Job Requirements**:
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
Schedule:
