Job Title: NeuroTech

Reports to: Clinic Manager

Position Summary: The NeuroTech is responsible for administering EEG’s & MeRT treatment to patients. This position is vital to our clinic and patients and allows for one on one interaction with our patients, the VIP’s of our clinic

Duties Include but are not limited to:

- Administer MeRT treatment to patients
- Administer EEG recording to patients
- Utilizing EMR software, documenting and tracking patient progress
- Assist in scheduling of patients, responding to inquires, patient contact

Assist with advertising and social media presence
- Exercising proper care and maintenance of the machines and devices involved in EEG recordings and MeRT

treatments
- Ensure all coils are kept within operational temperature ranges at all times
- Provide proper care and maintenance of EEG caps
- Track and maintain logs on all machines, devices, and EEG caps used
- Provide excellent patient service and care
- Ensure MeRT and EEG treatment rooms are cleaned and stocked before patient’s arrival
- Provide appropriate responses to questions of the patients and their families
- Staying up to date on current training practices and seeking guidance of implementation by Wave Neuro
- Provide additional ad hoc support to the clinic on an as needed basis.

Collect payments and input information on patient portals

Qualifications & Skills:

- Ability to work in a challenging medical office environment
- Able to work some weekends as needed
- Ability to learn and use EMR systems and software
- Able to stand on your feet for up to 30 minutes at a time
- Ability to maneuver a (7lb/3.2kg) coil in a flexible arm for accurate and precise placement of a coil for treatment
- Ability to manually maneuver a (7lb/3.2kg) coil for accurate and precise placement of a coil for treatment
- Ability to learn & administer EEG’s using supplies as directed
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and follow HIPAA patient privacy guidelines
- Cheerful presence and positive attitude
- Strong ethical and moral character
- Must demonstrate empathetic nature when dealing with tough to work with patient population
- Demonstrated role as a team player
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills when problem solving
- Proven ability to exercise good judgment when dealing with patients and co-workers
- Openness to feedback
- Able to take direction from others

Must be fluent in English

Additional languages Are an asset

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
