**Who We're Looking For (Qualifications)**

We are looking for a **Registered Psychologist **who is:

- a current member of the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (**CPBC**), in good standing
- **organized, communicative, and accountable, **with excellent interpersonal, cultural sensitivity, and conflict resolution skills
- **open, honest and collaborative**, with a keen willingness to learn about and integrate Deep Sea Psychology’s policies and procedures in order to facilitate a smooth and consistent client experience
- skilled at working from an **intersectional and anti-oppressive **therapeutic framework,
- skilled at integrating a **depth or somatic oriented **worldview in therapy
- competent and experienced in working with **Indigenous, Black, and POC **people, communities, and/or organizations
- competent and experienced in working with **gender diverse, non-monogamous, and 2SLGBTQIA+ **people, communities, and/or organizations
- **neurodiversity affirming**:

- comfortable working with clients who require direct-billing to third parties, such as**:Indigenous Services Canada** (e.g. First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program (IRS RHSP)), **WorkSafe BC**, **ICBC**, Crime Victims' Assistance Program (**CVAP**), Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), RCMP.
- interested in developing **long term **therapeutic relationships
- able to offer **flexible hours** of availability (e.g. at least _some_ regular evening or weekend spots)
- experienced in providing **counselling** services with individual adults, couples/families, and youth by telehealth
- able to work **independently** and collaborate with team members **virtually**:

- highly **motivated **to build and maintain a client caseload

**Your Role (Job Description)**

As an Independent Contractor, you get to decide your own schedule and hours of availability, set your own rates for private-pay or sliding scale clients, and determine your own caseload goals and limits. We help you build your Deep Sea profile and get to know your areas of expertise, availability, and therapeutic approach to help you achieve your caseload goals.

As an Independent Contractor at Deep Sea Psychology, your key responsibilities include:

- Providing psychology services (e.g. counselling, consulting, and/or assessment) on a contracted basis within your defined scope of practice and areas of competency and interest
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date and comprehensive documentation regarding client care and case management using Deep Sea Psychology’s Electronic Health Record and Communication Systems
- Maintaining open and collaborative communication with Deep Sea Psychology regarding the comprehensive coordination of client care
- Consulting and referring to other professionals and community services as necessary
- **Where You'll Work**_

We support a fully telehealth clinical group practice. This means that you can choose to work from the comfort of your home, or any other appropriate space where you can comfortably meet with clients by video-call or by phone. If you already have an office or home-office suitable for seeing clients, and you would like to see clients in-person, in addition to telehealth, let us know

- **Split Rate Compensation**_

Independent contractors are paid on a fee for service basis. We offer a split rate compensation starting from 70%/30% for independently contracted Registered Psychologists in B.C..
