**Accounting Associate**

At Salford, as an _**Accounting Associate**_ you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to go work with teams within multiple locations in Canada and USA. You will be entrusted with a high level of responsibility and confidentiality.

**About Salford**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Prepare month end journal entries and reconciliations with complete back up in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and support the analysis of the financial statements and regular monthly reports in a timely manner, as required.
- Complete product line income statements and variance analysis with explanations for all significant items, as required.
- Prepare, analyze, and assist with accurate processing of monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable aging, as required.
- Provide complete payroll backup in the absence of the payroll clerk.
- Provide support to interim and year-end audit.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

**Minimum Requirements**
- A university degree or college diploma in Accounting, Business or a related discipline is required.
- Experience with an ERP system (Infor ERP experience is an asset)
- Effective communication skills, written and oral, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
