Reporting to the Controller of our International Business Unit, the Accounting Analyst will participate in the preparation and analysis of the business unit's reporting.
- Create customer invoices for global operations (including submission of invoices into customer billing portals, e.g., SAP Ariba);
- Assist with onboarding and integration of new customers;
- Monitor global accounts receivable for past due amounts and manage accounts receivable collections;
- Process vendor invoices for US and UK operations;
- Coordinate periodic payment of vendors for US and UK operations with the Treasury team;
- Record cash transactions for US and UK operations;
- Reconcile bank accounts for global entities in various currencies;
- Prepare month-end close and journal entry adjustment for global entities;
- Assist with revenue recognition (update deferred revenue schedules and work in progress);
- Review financial documents submitted by the global operations team and accounting firms;
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for global entities;
- Assist with global consolidation and intercompany loan reconciliations;
- Assist with US sales and use tax reporting;
- Perform other related duties as required.

Does this sound like you?
- Certificate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
- Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of relevant work experience;
- Experience in administrative accounting work (accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management) and general ledger accounting;
- Basic understanding of:

- IFRS accounting standards;
- foreign currency exchange.
- Strong organizational skills;
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work with a global team in different time zones;
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or Oracle preferred, but not required);
- Communication with teams in both French and English languages. Level expected:

- French: 3/4
- English: 4/4
