**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an **upper-year electrical apprentice** to join our maintenance team. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will be working under the supervision of a licensed electrician to learn and assist with various electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. This hands-on role provides a structured opportunity to develop skills and knowledge required to become a fully licensed electrician. You will be exposed to a wide range of electrical systems and components, ensuring safe and efficient electrical operations in a manufacturing setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics under supervision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment to carry out tasks safely.
- Participate in the safe and efficient installation of wiring, outlets, lighting, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
- Assist in the installation and testing of electrical equipment and systems to ensure they meet code requirements.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment used during electrical work.
- Document and report on tasks performed, as well as any issues that arise during the job.
- Attend related training sessions, apprenticeships, and workshops to further develop electrical skills and knowledge.
- Complete tasks assigned by the senior electrician/maintenance supervisor in a timely and effective manner.
- Follow all company and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Completed at least 2 years of electrical schooling/hours.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and carry tools, equipment, and materials as needed
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.

**What We Offer**:

- Starting wage of $25.00/per hour but negotiable based on experience.
- Straight Days; Monday-Friday 6:55am-3:15pm.
- Potential for overtime.
