Laborer / Saw Operator

**Position Overview**

We are looking for a Saw Operator for our. As part of the production shop the Saw Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining saw machines to cut metal materials according to specified measurements and requirements. This role is critical in ensuring that metal parts are cut accurately, efficiently, and safely to support manufacturing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up and cut material as required by the manufacturing line
- Collaborate with the workshop foreman to provide solutions for design or material issues
- Plan work sequence and cut material to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Organize and label parts clearly and accurately.
- Set up and operate equipment such as torches, drills, clamping tools, squares, disc grinders, and other handheld tools.
- Adhere to all safety standards and keep the workstation clean and organized.

**Skills Required**:

- Prior experience in working with metal
- Welding and/or CNC operating skills are considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Organized and reliable
- Having a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
