**What You Will Do**

In this work, you will:

- Collaboratively develop and deliver a peer training program through: Best practices review; Community engagement/consultation and External consultant engagement
- Support peer training program participants in the training experience to co-create meaningful engagement and empowerment opportunities and support peer success through knowledge and skill-building activities
- Create, offer and evaluate community outreach activities with trained peer staff to increase individual and community access to sexual health, general healthcare and other relevant services, supports and resources.

- Lived/living experience
- Capacity-building and community connection skills to support improved healthcare access and wellness outcomes within 2SGBTQ+ communities
- Strong group engagement, interpersonal, facilitation, conflict resolution and communication skills to promote a positive and supportive training experience for connected peers
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust relationships with community members across diverse lived experiences
- Ability to occasionally work irregular hours (evenings and weekends) in a variety of social and physical settings
- Valid driver’s licence with regular use of a reliable vehicle for work-related duties, preferred
- First Aid/CPR, BLS and Naloxone training considered an asset
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector police check (VSC)
