The UCN Housing Co-Ordinator is responsible for all UCN Housing on both campuses. The competencies required for this position include
- effective and culturally relevant communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, managing for results and change and critical thinking
- skills. The position also requires self-management, effective use of information technology, strong supervisory skills and strong accounting
- skills.
- It is an expectation of all staff within the university college that they will observe standards of behavior consistent with their role as an
- employee of the University College of the North. The incumbent must ensure that the functional areas under her/his control comply with the
- Workplace Safety and Health Act and all applicable UCN policies and procedures.**_REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS _**:

- Business Administrative Certificate or Diploma- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Experience in customer service
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a busy, interruptive office environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office & Zoom)
- Effective critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Dependability is essential
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Commitment to life-long learning
