**Logistics Freight Coordinator / Customer Service**

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, disciplined and highly motivated **Inbound** **Logistics Coordinator**. You will be working in a small team and will be reporting to the Supervisor, Procurement and Transportation.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Estimate the amount of time needed to complete a job
- Manage the schedule efficiently to maximize workflow
- Keep track of incoming and outgoing products, or materials
- Keep detailed spreadsheets of the workflow (past, current, and future)
- Creates PO in the system and send the orders to vendors
- Provides the feedback regarding volume of RM
- Releases PO’s from Master based on requirement
- Check BOL received vs. shipping dates daily and follow up with the vendors for all unshipped loads
- Updates Local and Import Receiving Checklist
- Verifies receipts with Receiving log, checks and updates daily
- Manages daily Import Receiving Log
- Monitors progress of shipped containers
- Informs of any delays
- Arrange for the payments for Imported Loads
- Prepare set of the documents and sends for custom release
- Plans for delivery from local vendors
- Provides the information about new vendor
- Takes samples of RM and packaging material

**Employee Collaboration**:

- Communicate clear expectations for work outcomes to team members
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding price trends, quality, supply, material, and service
- Escalate any concerns to the Manager, Procurement and Transportation

**Safety, Training & Processes**:

- Responsible for supporting safe, respectful, and productive work environment

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- 1 - 2 years’ proven working experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing or in a related position.
- Working knowledge of MS Suite - especially in Excel and ERP systems
- Experience with MS Power BI is an asset
- Manufacturing experience is an asset

**Education & Certifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Inventory Management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
