When you join our team as a
**Manager, IT Security**, you will be responsible for global delivery of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, Security Architecture, and Identity & Access Management services. This role will lead a diverse team of senior information security professionals and collaborate with a wide range of business and technology stakeholders across the enterprise. High standards for discipline and rigour in delivery of IT Security services need to be established and maintained.

**What You’ll Do**

**Team Leadership**:

- Manage the IT Security team. This includes hiring, training, career development, performance management, and annual performance reviews.
- Coordinate the use of external resources involved in the delivery of information security services, including, but not limited to, interviewing, negotiating contracts and fees, and managing external resources.

**IT Risk Management**:

- Define and facilitate the information security risk assessment process, including the reporting and oversight of efforts to remediate negative findings.
- Work directly with the business units to facilitate IT risk assessment and risk management processes.
- Collaborate with corporate compliance, audit, legal, procurement and HR management teams as required to ensure that Interfor complies with legal and regulatory requirements with respect to Information security.
- Support the Director, IT Security in the development of all global Information security policies, collaborating to create and approve policies, standards and procedures and ensuring policy compliance is regularly validated.

**Security Architecture**:

- Collaborate with Project Management Office and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure that Information security requirements are considered through the project initiation and management lifecycle.
- Manage, prioritize, and facilitate the execution of system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments on IT and business projects.

**Identity & Access Management**:

- Devise and configure approaches for key identity management requirements including:

- Customer identity and access management
- Privileged access management
- Identity governance administration, including access certification and audit reporting
- Access management processes including self-service access requests, automated provisioning, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication
- Unstructured data management
- Work with leaders on other strategic IT initiatives to provide guidance in the implementation of identity and access management controls and integration with enterprise identity management systems and processes.

**What You Offer**
- Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures, as well as successfully executing programs that meet the objectives of excellence in a dynamic environment.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs.
- Minimum of 4 years in an IT leadership role.
- Lumber industry experience is a strong asset.
- Security certifications is an asset.
- Agile experience is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.
- Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
- Project management skills: financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
- High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
- High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
