**The Town of Tillsonburg is looking for a Human Resources Summer Student who will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department with administrative functions.**

**Start Date**: May 27, 2024**
**End Date**: August 30, 2024**
**Wage**: $16.55/hour**
**Weekly hours**: 40**
**Openings**: 1**
**Criminal Record Check is required for this position.**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with records management (personnel files, job class files, recruitment files, etc).
- Assist with preparing template documentation (update and edit form documents as directed by HR staff).
- Research, collect and compile data for various human resources initiatives.

**Qualifications**
- University/College student in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
- Proven ability to work independently and solve problems creatively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to take and follow directions.
- Excellent research and editing skills.
- Experience with corporate office environments an asset.
- The successful applicant must provide a current Criminal Record Check from the Ontario Provincial Police.
