Accounting Bookkeeper

Cash flow projections as required;
- Monthly reconciliations, financial statements and preparation of all supporting documents;
- Month-end closing procedures;
- Entry and reconciliation of accounts payable;
- Accounts receivable, billing, and collections including aging reports for management;
- Maintaining and reconciling the General Ledger;
- Assisting with other procedures, such as tax records etc. - Prepare invoices and follow-up for payments Job Requirements - 2+ years of general accounting and bookkeeping experience;
- 1+ year of Desktop QuickBooks - 2+ years for bank reconciliations - Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Attention to detail and deadline driven;
- Able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate:
- Experience: - QuickBooks: 2 years (preferred) - Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred) - Bank reconciliation: 2 years (preferred)
**Duties**:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial record keeping
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Utilize accounting software, such as Xero, to record and track financial transactions
- Collaborate with other team members to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Knowledge of payroll processing and relevant regulations
- Familiarity with account reconciliation procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

**Salary**: $15.75-$32.27 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
