**Job Summary**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Clerk to join our team. As a Junior Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Prepare and process expense reports
- Conduct cash, credit card and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- This list is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as required.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role (min. 3 years)
- Related post-secondary education in accounting or bookkeeping (min. 1 year)
- Quick learner, proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Familiar with account reconciliation processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations and data entry (strong numbers orientation)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Motivated individual who demonstrates initiative and takes pride in a job well done
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, honest and trustworthy

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
