Cad Jeweller/bench Work

EXPERIENCED JEWELER and CAD MATRIX person needed with own tools or the use of our tools for busy branded company. Required skills:
CANADIAN CITIZEN and able to work in CANADA LEGALLY
- Jewelry inspection and cleaning
- Ring sizing's, add new shanks, add sizing bars
- Chain soldering + repair
- Re tip + rebuild prongs
- Laser welding
- Quality workmanship to be able to fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewelry, such as rings, brooches, pendants, bracelets, necklaces, lockets and etc...
- Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewelry mountings, according to specifications
- Enlarge or reduce size of rings by sawing through band, adding or removing metal, and soldering ends together
- Clean and polish jewelry using polishing wheels and chemical baths
- Reshape and restyle old jewelry following designs or instructions using hand tools and machines such as jeweler's lathe and drill
- Smooth joints and rough spots using hand file and emery paper
- Setting experience is not required but is an asset.
- Required Skills for CAD MATRIX:
- Proficiency with Matrix software NOT Rhino
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Great communication skills, and the ability to think outside of the box and critically
- Flexible hours during the week including weekends and evenings are necessary during times of quick turnarounds and important custom deadlines.
Skills Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience as a jeweler, clock or watch assembler or Completion of a college or other program, or apprenticeship training in watch or jewelry repair or gemology is required.
