L'Ombudsman est un officier indépendant et impartial de la législature qui résout et enquête sur les plaintes concernant les organisations gouvernementales de l'Ontario, les organismes du secteur public plus larges (y compris les municipalités, les universités et les conseils scolaires), les services de protection de l'enfance et la conformité avec la Loi sur les services en français. L'Ombudsman recommande des solutions aux problèmes administratifs individuels et systémiques et promeut l'équité, la responsabilité et la transparence dans le secteur public, ainsi que le respect des droits aux services en français et des droits des enfants et des jeunes pris en charge.

Rattaché(e) à la Gestionnaire des finances et des installations, l'analyste financier(ière) sera chargé(e) de fournir un soutien financier et administratif à l'Unité des finances.

**Responsabilités**:

- Examiner et vérifier les factures et les documents de paiement par rapport aux contrats signés pour garantir que toutes les autorisations et politiques sont respectées. Ce poste fournit un soutien à l'équipe des finances pour les dépenses du personnel, les comptes créditeurs et l'analyse comptable pendant les périodes d’audit, selon les besoins.
- Fournir une prévision trimestrielle détaillée pour tous les départements sur lesFrais de fonctionnement directs connexes, sur la base de modèles établis. Examiner et analyser ces dépenses par rapport aux budgets approuvés, aux rapports financiers en cours et à la fin de l'année et aux audits. Préparer des rapports consolidés et des analyses des tendances des dépenses, des écarts et des recommandations et fournir des options pour faciliter la prise de décision par la direction. Préparer des rapports ad hoc et réguliers selon les besoins.
- Aider à la préparation des rapports financiers trimestriels et des rapports des comptes publics, et conseiller sur les problèmes financiers liés aux opérations à la gestionnaire des finances et des installations. Cela comprend l’examen financier, l'analyse et l'évaluation des projets en cours existants.
- Examiner et comptabiliser les frais bancaires mensuels dans le système comptable, y compris le e rapprochement bancaire mensuel au besoin.
- Responsable du rapprochement et de la comptabilisation des frais mensuels de carte de crédit conformément aux politiques financières, y compris l'enregistrement des écritures dans le système comptable.
- Assurer une adhérence stricte aux politiques financières et la conformité avec les contrôles opérationnels.
- Aider le personnel en répondant aux questions sur les politiques et procédures de voyage, et rediriger les questions plus complexes vers la gestionnaire des finances et des installations.
- Informer et former le personnel administratif sur la politique financière et le processus de demande de remboursement des dépenses, selon les besoins.
- Maintenir et mettre à jour les dossiers de contrat pour tous les départements, y compris envoyer des rappels mensuels pour tous les renouvellements de contrat ou d'adhésion à venir.
- Examiner et capitaliser les actifs du Bureau conformément à la politique sur les immobilisations corporelles, à la politique sur les actifs et au manuel du comptable professionnel agréé (CPA) pour garantir que tous les critères sont respectés.
- Examiner les demandes de remboursement et travailler avec les départements respectifs pour résoudre les écarts conformément à la politique de voyage du Bureau.
- Aider à l'enregistrement et à la maintenance du système de dépôt électronique pour l'Unité des finances.
- Restez à jour sur le développement des compétences connexes en ce qui concerne les nouvelles technologies ou processus, selon les besoins.
- Effectuer toute autre activité connexe selon les besoins.

**Connaissances et expériences**:

- Combinaison d'une formation postsecondaire pertinente et/ou d'une combinaison de formation et d'expérience professionnelle connexe pour interpréter et appliquer les directives et les lignes directrices concernant le traitement des dépenses/revenus au sein de l'organisation.
- Être un Comptable Professionnel Agréé (CPA) ou en phase finale et activement en train de compléter une désignation comptable accréditée serait un atout.
- Compétences avancées avec MS Excel, Office 365 et expérience avec le logiciel comptable « Great Plains » serait un atout.
