Student Project Coordinator (Cambridge)

What You’ll Be Working On

Our internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We’ll help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging, fun, and supportive work environment. Projects are scoped in alignment with your term length, and typically focus on a current construction project.

We are seeking a student to join us for a 4-month student position in Cambridge, ON.

Who We Need On Our Team- You are currently enrolled in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Industrial Engineering program, and will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher- Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently- Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships- Exemplify the Ideal Team Player - Hungry, Humble, Smart- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills- Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude- Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries- If you are selected for a role in a safety-sensitive position, you will be required to successfully complete a Medical and/or Alcohol & Drug testsWe Put Safety First
