EHN Prairies Inc. a new 60-bed inpatient addictions treatment facility, located about 20 minutes northwest of Regina and will provide adults 18 and older with holistic, wrap-around inpatient addictions treatment for up to 16 weeks.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Clinical Director brings at least five (5) years' experience of clinical leadership to an inpatient clinical team. The Clinical Director will have in-depth experience in the service provision of mental health and addictions treatment in an outpatient setting. The Clinical Director will provide in-person oversight and supervision to the clinical team in Substance Use Disorder (SUD), Mood and Anxiety (MAP), and Workplace Trauma (WT).
**Job Function and Duties**:

- Responsible for providing direct clinical supervision to the clinicians (SUD, MAP, Workplace Trauma) based on clinical best practices for addictions, mental health and trauma treatment
- Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive processing Therapy, (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Trauma-Informed Care training is a requirement.
- Seeks opportunities to develop evidence-based curriculum and expand programs and services which support EHN’s mission statement and strategic plan and to meet the needs of clients and address gaps in treatment services in the community.
- Ensures that clinical policies and procedures are in place to enable high quality clinical decision-making and client care
- Responsible for end-to-end clinical program development in specialty mental health areas such as Post-Partum Depression, DBT for Complex Trauma.
- Knowledgeable in outcome measurement practices; able to make programmatic changes and enhances based on the data retrieved from outcome measurements
- In collaboration with clinical managers, oversees vacation requests and adequate staffing and group scheduling
- Leads weekly group supervision for the clinical managers to address and action clinical issues
- Supports the admissions process by providing clinical oversight and decision-making in complex cases
- In collaboration with clinical managers, completes annual performance evaluations and provides ongoing feedback to staff as required, elevating performance issues to Executive Director
- Fosters collaborative communication with internal and external teams and community partners
- Provides supervision to practicum students
- Identifies potential referrals to expand marketing contacts and meets with them when possible
- Oversees formal assessments ensuring quality control for written assessments or clinical records released to third parties**.**:

- In collaboration with the Business Development and Digital Marketing teams, develops and delivers clinical materials to internal and external stakeholders
- Provides in-house training on current clinical issues and best practices to team members
- Provides clinical supervision during case conferencing and has the final decision and responsibility on clinical matters
- In collaboration with the clinical managers, engages in regular auditing of clinical reporting to ensure alignment with regulatory body practices
- Is knowledgeable on the rules and guidelines as per provincial regulatory bodies
- Identifies and communicates clinical concerns or systems issues to leadership team
- Coordinates and redeploys staff to achieve appropriate skill mix
- Assists with problem-solving and troubleshooting regarding client and referent care
- Support and actions, as appropriate, any recruitment or retention initiatives as outlined by the Recruitment and Retention Specialist
- In collaboration with the operations team, ensures quality improvement through the implementation of new processes/initiatives using change management strategies and achievable goals
- Provide supervision / training to staff individually or in groups as needed to support the continuous improvement of program
- Participates in policy and procedure development and implementation as necessary and ensure staff are trained on new policies
