**The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit** has an exciting opportunity for a **Property Administrator **in our **Brockville** Office.

Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Property, this part-time (0.8 FTE), permanent status position works on an operational level to administer the maintenance programs for all Health Unit facilities and equipment, in order to ensure compliance with legal requirements and health and safety standards. The Administrator will work in a number of service areas, including space management, facility maintenance planning and coordination, testing and inspections, and security.

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary School Graduate or equivalent;
- 3-4 year College awarded diploma or degree in Facilities Management and /or Business Administration;
- Minimum three-four (3-4) years’ experience in Facilities Administration;
- Strong analytical skills, good judgement and demonstrated initiative;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability;
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Building Code and Infection Prevention and Control practices;
- Experience finding and working with specialist contractors and trades people;
- Experience coordinating maintenance and repairs in office and clinical settings;
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability in project management and developing property plans;
- Strong time management and organizational skills; able to deal with many competing demands in a calm, professional manner; and ability to set priorities
- Attention to detail, excellent proof reading, grammar, and electronic file management;
- Knowledge and proficiency in various computer programs and databases in a network environment including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point;
- Ability to work in a professional and ethical manner with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality;
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, with mínimal supervision.

**Other Requirements**:

- Immunizations in accordance with Heath Unit policy;
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check in accordance with Health Unit policy;
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28 per week

**Salary**: $47,596.64-$51,047.36 per year
