Housekeeping Supervisor

Scheduling employees in accordance with forecasted occupancies, adjusting staffing as necessary for sudden changes in occupancy.

Productivity scheduling and control of operating labour costs.

Meet and exceed guest expectations by ensuring the department provides exceptional service and teamwork.

Lead by example, provide staff with skills training to provide value added service to hotel guests.

Contributing to the competitive status and profitability of the hotel by monitoring trends and recommending appropriate actions to be taken.

Schedule, direct, and support all task completions of preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment.

Responsible for proper administration of key control for master keys, ensuring that the Company's security procedures are being followed.

Minimizing out-of-order rooms and maximizing profitable revenues for the hotel. Any OOO rooms require preapproval from the General Manager.

Participation in weekly operational meetings.

Assure the Housekeeping department operates within an approved budget by assisting in the preparation of the annual hotel budget. Monitor the financial performance of the department against the approved budget, make appropriate recommendations as necessary.

Adhere to Hampton Inn by Hilton brand standards and company policies.

Monitor and implement action plans to improve surveys scores, SALT score on daily basis and provide feedback to leadership team.

Be aware of and adhere to procedures as written in the Hotel Crisis Communication Plan to ensure any inquiries from the media are only responded to by appointed spokesperson in line with company policy.

Participate in Annual QA (Quality Assurance) Inspection. Implement action plans and follow up on items that did not pass inspection or not brand compliance.

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour
